Claudia Rivarelli: Ajedrez Sangriento (Spanish)
From Berlin to Washington, from the Russian mafia to the basements of the FBI: Ajedrez Sangriento is a thriller of revenge and redemption. Nothing is as it seems, and no one is safe. In this game, the king cannot move alone — and Francesca is ready to sacrifice every piece to win.

Chile, 1986. The dictatorship is a system in which power is bought with blood, loyalty is negotiated in other people’s beds, and human life becomes an incidental expense. This novel reveals perpetrators at cocaine parties and victims in their silence, torturers at Mass and survivors planning their revenge.
Resistance stirs in the system’s cracks. A Te Deum for Death recalls what happens when power is exercised without restraint. Dictatorship is not only history, but a latent possibility. Share and support our authors.

New book
Vicente de la Serna: A Te Deum for Death, Vol. I — It was obscene to live (English)
A Te Deum for Death is not a political novel. It is a novel about what happens when power becomes habit and cruelty becomes routine. There are no heroes here. Only survivors.
Important note: This is the second edition of A Te Deum for Death, Vol. I, published by Súdaka Editorial. It differs from the first 2023 edition published by united p.c. Verlag.
The first Súdaka Editorial edition also differs from the united p.c. Verlag edition. Volumes I and II from united p.c. Verlag therefore do not correspond to the Súdaka Editorial edition, which is divided into four volumes rather than two.

Néstor Gimenez: Amor eterno. La sombra del tiempo
Estanislao López returns home on a train crossing the high plateau. He does not yet know that this journey marks the beginning of a deeper one: a return to a memory that had seemed long closed.
An unexpected encounter, a letter from an old friend, a journey to Germany and the ghost of a love that does not fade lead him to ask whether eternal love is the love that endures through time — or the one that flares up again against all expectation.
Amor eterno. La sombra del tiempo is a novel about journeys that are returns, losses that become discoveries, and the certainty that sometimes one must lose oneself in order to find oneself again.

“Chile, 1986. Pinochet has been in power for thirteen years. The communists still do not appear. Torture is old news. The country has learned to live with terror as it lives with the noise of the city.” Today it seems that everything is returning — this time through the ballot box. Vicente de la Serna explores the most rotten areas of power when every means for abuse is available.

Spanish
Cuando nacen las ausencias is a polyphonic novel that weaves together the Holocaust, Latin American dictatorships and Gaza with twenty-first-century fascism. A journey through memory, pain and resistance; six open endings. As the second part of Las últimas sangres, it can be read independently.
Comment by Jack Solo at Hugendubel, Germany.
English
Vicente de la Serna has written the diary of a castaway who knows that the island has sunk as well. His greatness lies in continuing to build ships from the wreckage. At a time of easily digestible literature, this book causes indigestion — and that is a good thing.
Quevedo said: “Nothing sobers me / the world has enchanted me.” De la Serna replies from 2025: the spell is broken. What remains is wreckage and a voice that refuses to be silent.

French
Vicente de la Serna’s volume 24+1 Podcast pour van Gogh is a poetic emergency dossier, an autopsy of the twenty-first century: the dead of Qatar compete with the children of Gaza in the trending topics, while Lenin’s ghost dances to TikTok and Bad Bunny.
